My name is Michelle Bromley. I am an antenatal, birth and postnatal Doula in Lancashire. I am a mother of 3 young children. I live in East Lancashire near Lancashire Women’s and Newborn Centre in Burnley.
I have been involved in local family support since the birth of my second child in 2007. In 2011 my journey took me to train as a Doula with Nurturing Birth.
Snowdrops are a symbol of new life and new beginnings. They are the first flower to blossom in the year and are a symbol of hope and new life. Pregnancy and parenthood is full of hope and wonder and Birth is the start of a new life for all. Just as the snowdrop brings hope and beauty, Snowdrop Doula aims to aid the same into your pregnancy, birth and beyond.
My passion lies in supporting and empowering women and families throughout pregnancy and beyond in whatever choices they decide. I believe all women should be able to make a fully informed choice and have a positive experience in birth. This should ease your transition into parenthood.
Snowdrop Doula is a Community Interest Company which enables me to provide more services to families in East Lancashire. We now have funding to provide free Doula services to families within East Lancashire. This service can include one to one antenatal classes/support,birth support and/or postnatal support. This is entirely flexible. (eg. If you do not wish another person in your birth space then we respect that wholly)
We also now sell maternity clothing in Burnley which helps us raise funds for the support work.
My Doula services cover all Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. From Burnley, Blackburn, Colne to Lancaster and Preston. And Hebden Bridge to Skipton and Ilkley.
