This is our sewing and textiles course aimed at home educated children. This course is a regulated qualification from NCFE with 15 credits.
The course is wholly portfolio based with no exams. Your child completes the portfolio, based on prompts or any appropriate way, to meet the learning outcomes. They can complete these tasks at their convenience. The portfolio must be the child’s own work. We can then assess the portfolio for certification. If you are able to travel to us in East Lancashire for assessment, an in person visit would be preferable. Alternatively, we may be able to travel to you or complete it remotely.
