We have opened our first dedicated Doula Cafe space in Accrington Arndale Centre, Lancashire. This space is dedicated for expectant and new parents to gather for support, whether through our groups or drop in clinics with our Doulas or feeding support specialists.
Our Doula Cafe ™️ model is available, with our support, to branch across the country with our training and mentoring.
Summer magic show
We are holding a magic show in our Doula Cafe in Accrington on the 14th August. There will be arts and crafts and refreshments and then a fantastic magic show by a real magician, for all. For more information and to book click below.
Coffee morning playgroup
These groups are a relaxed playgroup with varied toys and activities for your little ones to play with. We often have our trained peer supporters in these sessions. Any volunteers will be able to refer you to our specialist workers.
Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 10am – 12noon.
£2 recommend donation.
Brunch available. And our food share.

Doula drop in
Our Doula drop ins provide a chance to get support before, during or after pregnancy with one of our trained Doulas or Counsellors. Drop in, have a coffee and a snack (if you want) and have a chat about whatever you need in relation to your family life and we will help and support where we can.
First aid and food hygiene courses
We are working with Lancashire Adult Learning to bring some baby and children’s first aid (and adult) courses and food hygiene and catering courses. Book via the link here.
Cook with toddler
A class you can book weekly or just come along for parent/carer and pre school child. Learn together and safely cook together some tasty meals. You will take home a number of recipes to use again and again. (Babies also welcome along).
Recommended cost £2 per child.
A 3 week class for mums/parents/carers to do to learn about weaning and ideal first foods. A lovely class where you will learn about weaning, the current guidelines and cook simple and healthy recipes to take home. Babies are welcome to come along and we can work around feeding and napping.
Grow your own
A workshop session to make a starter grown your own food container. Simple starter kit with help and information to start to grow your own vegetables.
Pay as you can to help more people access the classes.
This is our workshop for parent and child making a “Magic Garden”.
Planting edible “magical” flowers and plants and including arts and crafts. Perfect for magical creatures to come and visit.
A workshop for parents and the child. Make a pot full of sensory herbs and flowers that can be used to make gorgeous herbal teas.
