We provide one to one antenatal support to talk through your options for birth and beyond. Almost as if you have a private antenatal class just for you and your needs. Usually covering expectations of Birth, expectations with a newborn, and looking at previous experiences.
Helping you to navigate pregnancy, look at birth and prepare for life with a new child. With the antenatal support we aim to help you have a calmer pregnancy and better prepare for birth and parenting.
Typically this will be in the comfort of your own home with times to suit. However, we can now offer this via video or phone call across the UK. This can be as much or as little as you need.
We can support you at appointments also and can be available via email/ text/ phone to listen.
Birth and labour is a very important time in a woman’s life and research, plus our own feedback, shows that
continuous one to one support throughout pregnancy and birth can improve outcomes and reduce a need for interventions. Our own outcomes show that, with our support, rates of intervention are decreased. Also showing that even with an intervention women and families report feeling happy and wellbeing is increased in comparison to the general population.
Your Doula will be available via email or phone for any questions you may want to ask and can be on call 24/7 from 37 weeks until baby is born and can attend your labour and birth of your baby as you wish.
We do not take the place of your partner or midwife but we are there to support you, and your partner, through the process. We offer a familiar face supporting you, unconditionally.
After the birth of your baby we are be to support you physically and emotionally to ease your transition into parenthood. We can talk about how exactly we could best support you. We offer breastfeeding support and infant feeding support. Or to be a listening ear when you just need to talk. Here we offer a debrief service as standard.
We have some packages of support to offer various options for various needs. Have a look here.
