Doula Support

We offer free Doulas across the UK. Our award winning Pregnancy support, birth and postnatal support is for all.

Our Doula and counselling service is unique in the UK and our evidence shows improved outcomes and wellbeing for families through pregnancy and beyond. You can see our evidence here. Our Doulas are trained in our NCFE/CACHE Level 3 Award in Perinatal peer support. This level of training accreditation for Doulas is unique in the UK and our Doulas are peer mentored by our experienced staff. You know you are receiving the best support.

We are based in East Lancashire and can offer support across the UK.

We can offer full Doula packages or hourly sessions, and everything in between. To see what we can offer see below.

Antenatal

We provide one to one antenatal and pregnancy support to talk through your options for birth and beyond. Like having a private antenatal class just for you and your needs. Usually covering expectations of Birth, expectations with a newborn, and looking at previous experiences.

Helping you to navigate pregnancy, look at birth and prepare for life with a new child. With the antenatal support we aim to help you have a calmer pregnancy and better prepare for birth and parenting.

Typically this will be in the comfort of your own home with times to suit. However, we can now offer this via video or phone call across the UK. This can be as much or as little as you need.

We can support you at appointments also and can be available via email/ text/ phone to listen.

Birth

Your doula will be available via email or phone for any questions you may have. She will be on call 24/7 from 37 weeks pregnancy until baby is born and can attend your labour and birth of your baby. A doula does not take the place of your partner or midwife but acts to support you and your partner through the process. We offer a familiar face to support you, unconditionally. Helping to advocate for you and explain any diversion from plans.

Postnatal

After the birth of your baby we can support you physically and emotionally to ease your transition into parenthood. As with all support we offer the exact type of support varies. We can offer feeding support, be a listening ear when you need to talk, hold baby whilst you shower, or even help you cook a meal. Whatever you need to help you into life with a newborn.
