A stand alone course in perinatal mental health. This training is suitable for anyone working with pregnant and new mothers and their families.

Suitable as a top up or cpd to other training. Accredited by CACHE.

Modules include;

What is mental health and what is trauma.

Different diagnoses and treatment options for perinatal mental illness,

How to support women and their families ,

Self awareness and reflective practice.

The course will run, currently, as a mixture of Microsoft teams and self study. You will also get a manual and handbook, plus other goodies, in the post. You will have 3 months to complete the course and will gain access to the materials a week before the course begins, with set 2 hour Teams sessions as shown below, these are a mix of evening and morning sessions.

Written and delivered by our experienced Doula and psychotherapist, with over 16 years working with families and with lived experience of perinatal mental illness.
