Why should I try cloth?

With the crisis of climate change many are looking at ways to reduce their carbon footprint and to help eliminate the issues associated with the environmental changes. A great way of doing this is to use cloth nappies instead of disposables. It is said that disposable nappies can take 100s of year to biodegrade in landfill and when we consider how many 100’s of nappies a child will use this does have quite an impact.

It’s also cheaper in the long run to use cloth nappies.

How many do I need?

To use cloth nappies full time it is ideal to have enough to cover two days. So one lot in the wash and one being used.

How can I try some?

Have you ever wanted to try cloth nappies but have no idea where to start? Perhaps you want to try some before you purchase them? Trialing nappies with our library may be the way for you. We also sell nappies.

You can hire a kit of 5 nappies for a 7 day period for £30 plus a £35 cheque or cash deposit. You will, currently, need to buy a roll of disposable liners for around £6 and a packet of nappy wash for around the same price.

We are a not for profit organisation. Any profit is reinvested into supporting local families.

We have numerous brands to try and are always looking for donations. We stock, Bambino Mio, Close Pop in, Tots Bots, Bumgenius, Smart, Work at home mum brands, and others.
